A Whole New Blog...Again

Hello and welcome to the first post of my ramblings about everything that's not on my other blog! If you've come here from my Advocacy and the Like blog, I assure this will be much different and a bit more lighthearted. I'll also have to get around to transferring some of those entries over to this one because they don't fit in with the theme of the blog, which is a task to tackle for another day. If, however, you have found me here from any other place via search engine or what have you, I hope you enjoy time here; also feel free to check out my blog mentioned above. It's my passion, and I hope you're interested in it enough to give it a try!
Speaking of tasks for different days, I have a lot of things I have to do for this one. I need to give it a proper name since this one sounds generic and impersonal, set up the layout, color scheme, and text, add media icons, make a banner, add an ''about me'' and "contact me" pages, embed my twitter account, generate a privacy policy, and start posting about everything that comes to mind. Another thing that I need to get back into the habit of, for this blog and my other one, is that I need to keep an eye on my word count so I can make five hundred plus words. I've been slacking off recently, and I've justified it by saying, "I'm only updating; I'm not making an actual entry about something." It really is a bad habit of mine that I need to fix.
Needless to say, I will more than likely stay busy with only the things that pertain to the internet, excluding anything that happens in real life. Usually having this much to do would make me head-over-heels in stress, but I find myself not experiencing stress at all. I suppose it's because I enjoy doing this kind of thing, and I don't have an official deadline. Of course I should be putting myself on some sort of schedule in order to maintain both of my blogs, and possibly a third one about my gardening escapades. I would rather find a way to compile that on this blog, but I don't know how I would organize that to fit in. If anyone knows how to do that I would be full of optimism and eager to read any advice you might have for me.
That's the whole of my checklist for the moment. I might get started on checking some of these things off sooner rather than later, if, of course I can somehow manage to find the necessary motivation I need in order to finish the research paper I've only just begun. Oh the griefs of being a procrastinator. I am so grateful that it is almost summer vacation, then I can have all the time in the world to get my blogging things done.
This is the end for right now. I hope you weren't too bored with what I had to say, and if you're interested in what else I have to say, come back; I would enjoy having a reader or two. Type to you later!
