It all began on Friday morning. Jackson, Chris, and I participated in Free Comic Book Day. The weather was a bit chillier than I expected, but it wasn't unbearable. We stood in line for about two hours before we got inside. I'm not going to lie; I'm not really big on comic books. I went because it piqued my interest and I wanted to get out of the house since I felt like I would become more of a homebody if I didn't go out. It was actually pretty fun. I got a few comics only because they looked cute, and if you must know, they were children's books. I didn't care; I walked out of that store with pride! The stories in them were cute as well! Also, the store gave away pink lemonade cake upon exiting, and it tasted rather delicious.
After we finished up our comic shopping the three of us went to Sheetz and bought ourselves something to drink. Chris bought a Pepsi (as always), I got a yummy Dr. Pepper, and Jackson bought a slushy with three flavors mixed into it. I didn't think it would be very good, but it was.
Finally we arrived at my home to hang out for a few hours, which turned into an all night thing. I made killer au gratin potatoes; we played lots of cards before and after our lunch, everything from Old Maid, to Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh. Later we read comics, made brownies, watched The Princess Bride and The Producers. By the time we finished watching the movies it was almost two in the morning. I was so tired, and slept until one that afternoon.
That sums up the weekend; next came exams. I didn't have any on Monday, thankfully, turned in my American Women's Studies final paper, and took my Into to Psychology exam on Tuesday. I made high A's on both and finished those classes with a B and an A, respectively. Today was my American Lit exam. It was exactly like all of his other exams: draw an interpretation of our class. First you need to know some back-story, but I'm going to give you a summary instead. I found my instructor's blog and page for his band, which I had no idea existed until I found the link on his blog. I clicked on it and listened to every single song. That's the summary, so I incorporated this knowledge into my drawings. I would show you all a picture, but I totally forgot about it! It was hilarious. I drew three pictures with each one focusing on one song from his band. It was the most humorous assignment I've ever done in my life.
After tomorrow's exam I'm going to have to come home and clean up my house like crazy because one of my most amazing amigas is coming over! We don't know what all we're going to do, but so far we plan on looking at my tiny garden full of cute plants that haven't bloomed yet, along with the few vegetables Chris and I planted together, and cooking lots of food. We're probably going to play video games afterwards, but I would love to play cards.
The last thing on my agenda to ramble about for today: Amnesia. It's a game that another one of my friends gave to me. I only got it today so I haven't played it very much. I've seen YouTube videos about a vlogger playing it, and it's a horror game. It's pretty scary, but I figured I'd give it a try. Since it's the beginning it isn't scary, but I know what to expect; I've seen what happens. It is fun though, so I'm excited to play it more. That's about it for today! I'll tell you guys about how scared I get during the game. Type to you all soon!
