My New Hat and Fun Lunch Date - pt. 2

This is day two of my awesome lunch date I had at school with my friends. If you didn't read part one then you're missing out on pipe cleaners, and those are a bunch of fun, just saying.
The next day was Thursday, or yesterday if you're reading this today. My friends and I all planned on bringing food to have a big lunch together. I made sugar cookies, Alex brought cheesecake, Jackson was supposed to bring brain tacos from a Mexican place in Clemmons but brought three pizzas instead, and nobody knew what +Christen was going to bring; it was a surprise until the day of the lunch.
Alex, Chris, and I were all out of class waiting for the last two people to show up, and thankfully they showed up within a few minutes of each other. I don't know what Jackson's deal was, but he had to be "that guy" who didn't  wear shoes. It was funny and a little gross at the same time, but that didn't hinder our fun! In fact, I would say that it added to the humorous atmosphere.

Once they showed up we moved to the long tables in the middle of the break room and set up our food. This was the moment we learned of Christen's food. She brought us chicken and french fries! The food was lined up in order from main course to the yummy desserts, and after the set up was done we all started loading our plates. I don't know how many plates of food I had, but I do know that I ate way too much. One of the professors whose office we sit outside of everyday, Cat, walked passed us once or twice and laughed at the spectacle of food laid out across two tables and continued to walk into her office. Also Alex gave Jo, another one of our instructors, a piece of cheesecake. She walked by before everyone arrived and we told her of our wonderful lunch date. Her facial expression after we said "cheesecake" let us know that she wanted one, especially after she asked for a leftover piece. We didn't mind sharing because if you had one of her classes you would know how awesome she is. So the lunch date was really fun.
After we ate and cleaned up the table we were sitting at we decided to play cards. I was really glad that I called Jackson before he came to school because without that phone call there wouldn't have been card games. The only thing we played was Old Maid, but it was quite entertaining with the five of us. I lost three of the five rounds we played, and I was convinced that I would never play again, but I still had fun.
At two o'clock Alex went home, Christen and I went to our classes, and Chris lingered around to hang out with Jackson. After class I went to sit with the two guys for a bit and we ended up playing Magic. First it was only Jackson and me, then we had a three way battle after Chris watched and learned. This was also pretty fun. Then around six we finished up and went home. I think we're all planning to have a Thanksgiving lunch in the fall semester. I hope it works out as well as this one, and maybe we'll know more card games by then!
That about sums up the last two days of class before exam week, and for this entry. Talk to you all later!
